What is the best time to travel
Best Time to Travel to Europe

The best time to see Europe is from April to June and September to October for most of the seasoned travelers, when the weather is still warm, the holiday crowds have left and accommodation and transport are regularly priced. Peak periods are the times when majority of travelers fly in and out of countries and these periods usually coincide with school holidays, Christmas, Easter and New Year.

However the perfect months to enjoy southern Europe i.e. Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy are May, June, September, and October as they are the best destinations in these periods. The climate at this time is usually ideal and the crowds are relatively thin. International flights are usually less expensive than the peak fares of summer. These destinations may be too hot, too crowded and too expensive for many travelers, in the months of July and August.

July, August becomes the best time to visit Northern, Central and Eastern Europe and goes to such countries as Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Czech Republic, this period offers the best climate conditions and many of the locals will be on holiday in southern Europe during this period.

Good travel bargains may be available during November to March months when the whole of Europe is cold; so the travelers may have to spend a lot of time indoors. The only exception to this is the Canary Islands, which is a part of Spain, but they are located off the coast of Africa, and enjoy moderate climate year-round.
